Lady with an Ermine
ArtyKids workshops are a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Renaissance art and discover the secrets of one of Leonardo da Vinci's most famous works - Lady with an Ermine. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the painting, its painting techniques and the context of the era in which it was created. Thanks to modern digital tools, they will take part in an interactive analysis of the work, and at the end, they will create their own artistic interpretation on an ArtyKids T-shirt.
Piece
The participant discovers the fascinating world of the Renaissance, learning about painting techniques and the history of the painting. He learns about the customs of the time, what houses looked like and what elements of culture were characteristic of the era. Additionally, he learns interesting facts about the details of the work, such as the symbolism of the animal depicted in the painting, which enriches his artistic experience.
Technology
The workshops allow you to use the latest digital tools, not only when designing a T-shirt on an iPad, but also when viewing a high-resolution image and analyzing its scans. Participants have access to digital resources, thanks to which they can look at the details of the work, discover hidden layers and the artist's corrections. Additionally, interactive quizzes turned into a form of fun make learning engaging and enjoyable, combining education with modern technology.
Science
The workshops combine theory with practice, offering an interdisciplinary approach to art history. The participant learns research methods that allow them to explore customs, architecture, and aspects of everyday life of past eras. This scientific exploration broadens knowledge of the cultural and social context, inspiring further exploration and artistic experimentation.
